Starting a new travel business requires you to complete a number of steps and make some key decisions. Though part of your overall plan, you’ll need to select a location (home or storefront), decide on a buiness name, decide on a business structure (Sole Proprietorship, Limited Liability Company, General Partnership, or C or Sub Chapter S Corporation), select a corresponding domain name (website address) or use our sub-domain, and obtain the necessary licenses and checking accounts.

Additionally, you will need to register or comply with certain Sellers of Travel Laws. As a general rule, Sellers of Travel laws are consumer protection laws intended to protect consumers who are residents of its state (including Canadian provinces), and the laws apply to any Seller of Travel who sells to residents of the regulating state. Generally, you will need to complete a form identifying your name, business name, address and our agency as your host.
